There is a lot an excavating contractor as do deal with. It starts with clearing and grubbing the entire site hauling in fill dirt followed by compacting, grading footer pad, filling stem wall. Then you have a plumbing back fill to do will the plumber or concrete mason handle that? Then comes rough grading, stucco grading, pool back fill, driveway cut, and final grading with maybe yard drains and how about landscaping berms. But don't forget site drainage and culverts.
